The Mission

At Concrete Elements, I’ve redefined the possibilities of concrete.

These works, born from a fusion of traditional skill and unexpected artistic vision, offer more than just a visual spectacle. They invite viewers on a journey of introspection, where a sense of calm meets a bold, captivating aesthetic. It is my wish to share this transformative experience through the art that is a reflection of my life's dedication and passion.

In hopes to make each piece the embodiment of creativity and innovation that I strive for, creating depth and character in any unique space. Introducing an artistic showcase for any room that transcends the ordinary.

I feel art should not only be seen, but felt; a fusion of light and materials that creates an ambience the moment you enter a room

My mission is to create a new dimension of art where concrete not only constructs, but connects, illuminates, and inspires.

My Journey

Mike Rehberger 1970s

My journey into the world of art and construction began early, pouring concrete alongside my father in Chicago. Under the guidance of my grandfather, Joseph Amodeo — affectionately known as Grandpa Joe — I honed my talents in drawing and oil painting. These early experiences ignited a passion for creating and I quickly found myself exploring various mediums, developing a style that was uniquely my own.

Throughout my teenage years I continued to nurture this passion, which eventually led me to the American Academy of Art in Chicago. Balancing my studies with hands-on work in my father’s company, I gained a deep understanding of both the creative and technical aspects of concrete — a foundation that would prove invaluable in my later work.

In 1999 I moved to California, seeking new challenges and immersing myself in Hollywood’s animation industry. Despite the excitement and creativity of that world, the feeling lingered with me that something was missing — the tangible satisfaction of working with my hands, of building something real. This longing eventually brought me back to my roots, leading to the creation of Concrete Elements.

I’ve merged my love for fine art with the precision of construction in crafting a unique fusion.
